Build an Interactive Floor

Project games onto the floor. All you need is a projector, a camera and our free software.

How it works

The projector shows the game

It hangs above and lights up a rectangle on the floor. That rectangle is your play area.

The camera watches the movement

A depth camera sees where feet are and ignores everything else going on in the room.

The game reacts instantly

Step on a fish and it swims away. Every move changes what everyone sees on the floor.

Three things and you’re set

No custom hardware, no installers on site. You can put this together yourself.

2

A projector

Most projectors will do the job. We’ll help you pick one that fits your room.

3

A depth camera

Orbbec Astra 2 is our go-to, but several other models work just as well.

Supported cameras

Already have a projector? Then you’re most of the way there.
